STAS cliprail max – ceiling-flush picture rail

STAS cliprail max is a rail type that obliterates the small gap between rail and ceiling. A top rim connects the rail to the ceiling. Rail, wall and ceiling become one for an immaculate finish. For an optimal result, use STAS cliprail max in spaces with level ceilings. STAS cliprail max can carry artworks of average weight, up to 25 kg per linear metre. The rail, which is available in white, black and a natural aluminium colour, is easy to fit using the STAS railclip.

Installation is easy

Proper hanging starts with the right installation. Everything you need for a smooth and secure fixing is right here.

Installation & use
Wall mounting, ceiling-flush
Tools needed
Drill, pencil or marker pen, screwdriver, spirit level, tape measure, Stanley knife, crosscut saw
  • 1. Determine the position

    Use the enclosed drilling template to measure the height and mark the fixing points. Check everything is level with a spirit level and maintain the recommended distance between the drill holes.

  • 2. Drill the holes

    Drill holes at the marked points using the correct drill bit diameter. For hard surfaces such as concrete or stone, use a hammer drill. Insert the wall plugs into the holes and secure the screws with the rail clips.

  • 3. Fix the rail

    Clip the rail onto the rail clips. Not going in first time? Place a soft cloth over the rail and gently tap it into position with a rubber mallet.

  • 4. Hang your item

    Hook your chosen cord into the rail. This rail is compatible with all STAS cords with a cobra connector. Slide the hook onto the cord, adjust it to the desired height, hang your picture, and you're done!
