Got this to be able to display, change and re-arrange pictures in an easy way in the dining room.
Display looks great and offers variety:
The rail and string look great, it's barely there to the eye especially once the pictures are up. Pictures can be aligned precisely and effortlessly both horizontally and vertically. Best thing is that I was able to arrange and rearrange the display until I liked it without leaving any marks on the wall.
Installation:
Easy (make sure you have the right drill for the wall). As an advice, make sure to follow the video exactly, put a screw at each end to avoid it not being straight there once pictures come on. However, this can also be fixed by putting a nail as support in.
Customer Service- great:
Videos are easy to follow and questions per email were responded to swiftly the next day. Delivery also quick and without issues. (Posted on 22/02/2021)

Once up, this is a brilliant system, cords run smoothly, almost invisible against a light wall, and when rail is painted that too blends in. BUT as others have said, tricky to install, especially finally attaching the rail over the screw fixings. (Posted on 28/10/2020)

I saw this in an art gallery and thought what a brilliant system that takes all of the difficulty of hammering picture hooks all over the walls and filling in old holes when you move them or get different pictures. It is great to allow changing the pictures as often as you like and be able to experiment with how they look and where they are positioned. It has allowed me to experiment with my own artwork without committing myself to making holes which I often need to repair!!

I am not a DIY person in the slightest and had to steel myself for days to take the plunge and fixing the rail. It took me hours to do and not like the videos. I used the correct sized drill bit but the screws were too tight and I stripped the heads of a few (I would like to have seen a few spares included for this eventuality). Then I tried a larger hole and the screws just span in the wall plugs. What would be nice is a drill piece in the kit to make sure that I got it right, especially as a DIYaphobic!

All in all though, what an amazing concept and it has changed the way that I display pictures. I have recommended the STAS products to so many people. Well recommended. (Posted on 23/01/2019)

The rail is well made, well finished and well thought out. The simplicity of the fitting technique impressed me. I bought the aluminium rail (4 meters) and it looks very nice in our kitchen. My only criticism is to do with the fixing screws. The cross head is quite soft, I found, resulting in three of the first six screws requiring to be screwed in using a pliers, as the cross head became round. To avoid this happening for the rest of the screws, I drilled a slightly over sized hole and screwed in a strong screw of my own first, before screwing in the fixing screws. I am very pleased with the result. I am sure I am going to buy more of the rail for other rooms. (Posted on 01/05/2018)

I have installed four meters of mini rail and was up on the wall really easily, (I made a wood block that i used hard up against the ceiling with a guide hole drilled, few screws later and my rails clipped straight in. I really like the design and the fact I don't have to put nails or hooks all over the wall and if i add to my pictures i just have to slide the cables and spring hooks for infinite possibilities. Suggestion:- When fitting on uneven wall/surface do not tighten the fixing screws at first-- you may need to allow for adjustment before fitting the track. (Posted on 07/12/2017)

I have already installed STAS system in my studio so when we came to redecorate our lounge we naturally thought of STAS again.
This time I chose the Mini Rail system and it is perfect for the job, fitting just below the coving it is neat and unobtrusive, I would recommend it to anyone without reserve. (Posted on 23/05/2017)
